The OP is missing the option on the Urchins faction card, which gives a Favour for a Lucky Weasel.

I just did that with 5 Favours and added the info based on both results to the wiki. As usual, it's apparently most profitable to do this with 5 Favours (between 1.5 and 2.7 EPA, depending on your investments to get the Favours) My math might be completely off here, but doesn't this mean that it's more profitable to cash in with 7 Favours, and not 5? (after all, the rewards scale with the number of Favours, so you save actions by using more Favours at once).
It means that this card doesn't seem like a great way of turning in Urchins Favours, and we need the numbers for the other conflict cards. Of course. My comment was that in this particular action, it's better to have 7 Favours to spend than just 5.

Looks like Optimatum beat me to trying out refusal and posted to the wiki. Maybe when I go I'll see if there's any consequence for hitting 8 Wounds in the Mind...
If the wounds only become an issue after you leave, it's possible that it would be net-profitable for cider holders as long as you use mostly autofire cards to raise WtTS. Pity the wiki doesn't have CP for nightmares and dreams increases for most of those actions or I would do the math right now. So far I'm at 8 Wounds and still no ill effects in the Mind. Not having cider myself, I'm not sure how far I want to push Wounds while I'm in here, though I at least have a couple of horsehead amulets to help. It's not possible to nurse someone back to health while in the Mind, is it?

Unfortunately, it looks like I can't nurse you while you're in the Mind.

Care for some cider? Here's how to ask me for some. Strange pranks strongly preferred.
Care to pet a Heptagoat? Too bad. It doesn't do anything (probably).

Even if you could be nursed that drops the EPA down to ~2.05. Okay but certainly not worth going to the Mind for that alone. Maybe for cider bearers though that still seems dubious due to the number of actions required to get what the thunder said and stormy eyed up.

I'm afraid not. It wouldn't help terribly much anyways, since it's the cider DREAMS cards that actually do most of the healing. Accepting the sip only heals 1CP of wounds.

Yeah, each action you can spend getting an Aeolian Scream with that option requires a prep action to increase Stormy-Eyed, as to my knowledge there aren't any non-Fate actions that increase Stormy-Eyed by more than 1 CP, nor any that are auto-fire. That means 1.25 EPA maximum, and probably a bit lower than that. At best, it's a way to make some money back while you are in the Mind sightseeing/getting the Renown item.

Pity. I love the idea of a super long-game grind that pays off an extra 100E or so every 6 months.

I'd love to know how many urchins (both kind) have been BOUGHT these past few days. As well as monkeys and rookery passwords. It all just feels a bit obscene... the whole community rushing out to PURCHASE their very own urchin favour cows.
Also, why aren't there any items and companions (apart from the Watchmaker Hill pets) that help grind other kinds of favours? (...Are there any?)

Ruthless henchman and alluring accomplice give criminal favours. But I think thats it.

We have the Winsome Orphan and favour/renown grinding is supposed something that takes time. Wonder why people rush like mad to increase their level, feel angry or left out due to the conversion factor or disagree with the Renown 40 item. It's not like Hallowmas where we needed Notability, but the ability to offer the first point wasn't available! Alexis claimed that nothing in FL nor SS is equal regarding unlock conditions, time and bonus; think this is the best part of these games!
Why not be mad at those who own a Cider or at Estelle because he has insaaaane connection levels?

Oh right, I misremembered the Orphan as a Winsome Urchin. And I did BUY the henchman and the accomplice just to get the new Hallowmas companions. All right, time to increase my stable again. It's sick...

Note from the original post that there are two urchins which grant Favours but both with restrictions on how you get them.
The henchman and accomplice do have a common conflict card, if you don't mind that.

Also, why aren't there any items and companions (apart from the Watchmaker Hill pets) that help grind other kinds of favours? (...Are there any?) Criminals have the accomplice and henchman, but both of those have negligible epa if you aren't after favors for renown's sake (it costs 1 echo per favor). The other reason is, with the exception of rubberies, every other faction has a sustainable grind or another way to increase your favor income. Urchins does too, as do rubberies, of course, but they're both only available to specific fate stories. So it's not as unbalanced as it sounds like.
Also, it's not really purchasing, so much as making a contract with. Perhaps indentured servitude, but no worse; perhaps better. edited by Grenem on 1/24/2017

Has anybody sold the location of the Nadir since the conversion? This is the first of the four factions to be converted.

IIRC the Kidsman card had that 'Nothing seems to have changed' comment. Are other cards with the same comment set to be converted into a favour grind. Like the Soft-Bosomed Widow's 500x glim choice. Is she going to turn into a Society favour grind? <She better!>

At least, not if this is a one-off thing. if this isn't a one-off thing, if there's more than one link in the pattern, then I'd love to hear the full list of these things that changed recently, but who knows?
I know the kidsman card gave urchin favors before, though.

"Nothing seems to have changed" is simply the tracker for "Adrift in a Sea of Misery". It mostly appears when you do kind things to poor people who need help (often it's the Urchins, a lot of Orphanage-options give this). I wouldn't say it's a reliable indicator if something is turning into a source of Favours. On the other hand, it's raised when you help someone so it's not implausible either. I just don't think there's a significant correlation here.
