A Trade in Souls 3, Where to Now?

Hi, first post here and so far I'm adoring this game. I bought the Fate-locked Trade in Souls and now I'm a bit lost. My Merchant of Souls count is at 3, and the few results from Googling have indicated that I need to be on the lookout for Opportunity Cards to progress. I've flipped Cards constantly for three days now though, and nothing's come up. Do I need to be at Ladybones Road, my lodgings -or am I just unlucky and the card doesn't proc from any particular location?

If the next step is a card, it shouldn't have an area requirement. It could be a location-specific storylet though, so make sure to check all the base areas - ie Ladybones, Spite, Veilgarden, Watchmaker's - just in case you missed something.

in case you haven't gotten the card yet, yes, it's a card. I just got it now, but forgot to see how common it was.
