Is there any info out there on when player-player marriages might be coming back?

What's the point of having high quirks? I have a chance to raise a single quirk very high and I'm wondering which one, if any.
iron republic will test some quirks, noman will consume a lot of quirks if you want to play the storyline, you might need some quirks during the false summer event. those are the ones I remember.
I have a question of my own: if I leave the spywork unfinished in polythereme, will the fractious furniture card remain in my deck for my next visit. I dont see anything regarding a reset to that quality in wiki when leaving polythreme.

If you want to keep them as a memo, you can raise them to 2 and never touch them again.
Quirks are sometimes checked in cards or storylets. For example, if you are ruthless, you can blackmail the Duchess in the University. Or gift yourself in the Gift opportunity card. High quirks though (12+) rarely have uses beside nice flavour text, though Melancholy 12 can get you the Grieve question early in SMEN. edited by Fluby on 1/14/2017

That storyline will remain in progress, and you'll be able to keep that card in your Polythreme deck for when you next arrive.

I'd like to try to make my main an Extraordinary Mind. Her current unmodified Watchful is 155. What would be some efficient ways to get it to 200?

Chess. Chess. More chess.

thanks for the answers. I am glad I will keep that card in my deck. regarding to increasing stats, I think constant chess is boring. you can get two levels of a stat in a day even from something 100% stat check. so do something that you think it is fun and your stat will increase fast enough.

I also was not in the mood for ordinary chess games and did something hilariously terrible. I raised my watchful by playing chess with the boatman.
I mean, it does work.

I mean, it does kill you quite a lot. But it does work.

If you want your Watchful grind to be more... spicy, and turn in some profit, you could also just go looking for skulls'n stuff in the Forgotten Quarter. That's decidedly more... interesting than playing chess.

It's been months since I've last seen on my main the card "City vices: what profit", so I've been unable to sell my soul; is there any other way to sell it? I'd like to upgrade my last 4 card lodging, but the devils don't seem to be interested in my soul right now

I wish I could say the same for my main...

You can try to start the Intimate with devils path. The starting point is the "A devil's taken a shine to you" card with the "Write a risqué note back"

There is a christmas option on the lodging card for your guest room to sell it.
Also, are you in a remote lodging? It locks you out of drawing "What profit".

Polythreme Ho!
So for a while now I have had several options to do with Polythreme. There is a storylet about buying a ticket on a tramp steamer, and also the little games of cat and mouse to gather up pieces of the screaming map. But I seem to have missed how all this started. Perhaps I wasn't paying attention but was there a story reason why my character suddenly wants to go to Polythreme? It seems to have popped up out of nowhere and I just don't have any reason to go there. Can anyone remember what caused this, or is there no explanation other than "because it's there?"
(Been there in Sunless Sea, and while the Clay Men crewmen were quite a handy acquisition, generally I didn't much care for the place.)

Its usually just "because its there". Some ambitions need to go there, and eventually a police case will take you there. If you want to go there now, there are two unique items you can grab if you bring an exceptional hat and a battered gray overcoat. edited by suinicide on 1/15/2017

Ah, righto. Cheers. I think I'll leave it until I have a good reason, or my curiosity overcomes me, whichever happens first.
