How do you get that many pails of Lacre? Thats insane! I had like 4 this year and the game has not been going on long enough for someone to gather 39 pails that way. Was there some secret way to gather Lacre that I wasn't known about?

And at each week's Snowbound event, the non-masters options to shovel snow will get you a pail too.
As for the urchins, it is possible to keep drawing the card by (a) flipping cards a lot, (b) optimising your deck, and (c) force drawing the urchins card through favourable circumstances.

Regarding favourable circumstances grind you can visit this link; as you can see it's very easy to force draw the card if you have a lot of BDR.
Another way is if you have Cider, like Dov, which enables you to gain 7 cards using 2-3 AP; there's an option at the carnival that instantly kills you for 1 AP, add required tickets from various sources and another AP to escape. The boatman, same as heists, quadruples you number of cards in hand. 3 x 4 up to 12, which is 10 for an exceptional friend.
With these, deck optimizations and a remote address you see that it becomes easier, but all of these requirements take time. The lovely part of this game, don't rush! You'll get there!

Hello fellow marathoners, I'm also in the process of stockpiling supplies to get the Gant tattoo. I currently have A Face in the Snow (i.e. the regular Noman tattoo), which became my first ever tattoo last year, locking me out of the Gant option. This year I would ideally like to get another random tattoo from Millicent, and then immediately follow through with the Incident option. (Thank you for the refresher on tattoos, Màiread!)
I'm also hesitant to publicly share my amount of supplies (PM is fine!) considering last year's debacle, and anyway it's not final yet since I am still buying Pails using Notability (so if anyone is available for MW-related actions, that would be very welcome).
TtH comes on Tuesday afternoons for me, so that could potentially make it awkward if Lilac comes on the 14th indeed, as one extra TtH is a lot. This is why I'm planning to buy the Noman as late as possible.
Good luck to all of us and may the changes (and NF loss!) not be too dramatic this year.

Actually, if the Feast of the Exceptional Rose starts at noon GMT on this year's Valentine's Day (Tuesday, February 14th), this means you'll be hit by one less TtH, for purposes of Noman's Friend loss. It depends on your time zone, but if you time it right and assuming Lilac is available from the start of the Feast (and also assuming TtH is on time), you can in theory grab your tattoo(s) that day before TtH hits you.
(Disclaimer: that's a lot of assumptions, beware server outages and brinksmanship, etc.)

I probably stand no chance of keeping my Noman alive until the Feast with my pitiful amount of tears and pails, but before I even attempt it...
I only have one tattoo from last year's Feast. Will I be able to get my second tattoo AND a gant noman? Or will getting a second tattoo lock me out of Millicent's?

Assuming that the mechanics aren't changed enough to invalidate last year's mechanics as a guide, yes, you would be able to get the special tattoo immediately after getting your second one this year.

if NF loss data is pertinent for anything, I lost 50 when TtH hit and said my goodbye before another TtH could arrive. TtH was tuesday afternoon I think.(server problems changed my TtH time so I am not very sure but it was tuesday)

I am getting increasingly nervous about the price of the Noman and when TTH is going to show up. Over the span of the past few weeks, mine shifted from a fairly stable Monday midnight to Monday 5am to Tuesday morning. I can't remember when the latest TTH hit (notification email says Wednesday but I don't remember it being so late). I'm hoping to buy it at ToL 9 since I only have 10 at the moment. Very, very worried.

For the purposes of the list in the OP: both my accounts, linked in my signature, have the Gant tattoo from last year.
I'm planning on playing the Noman game again this year, just in case there's an extra-special something for players who already have two tattoos and the Gant tattoo; but I haven't been as obsessive about collecting resources this time, so I'll probably just enjoy the transitory Noman story, which is one of my favorite bits of the FL corpus.

I'm not going for a tattoo, but I'll add my results for general info purposes. TtH is on Wednesdays. Started with NF 169.
Week 1: Lost 30 Noman's Friend.
Week 2: Lost 55 Noman's Friend.
Week 3: Lost 67 Noman's Friend.
Looks like I'll make it to 15 Noman Knows by next week, so I'll get to finish the story at least.
