You can still go for the Noman and do the regular story. The price is still 3 ToL at the moment. Yes, I thought it was pretty emotional anyway. Seems that way from what people are saying. I thought I'd rather keep things light for now, though the idea is highly intriguing. But I like FL for the transience of its death, and Noman is an exception to that.
I definitely don't have the resources for IroNoman. Maybe next year. Or the one after it. I guess I could just keep the ToL until then and do nothing.

A question: if you have died once, and you purchase Hesperidean Cider after, will it still allow you to ascend to the Surface (from a lore standpoint)?
I am close to getting my second goat, and I doubt I am ever going to need a heptagoat for anything, so from an RP standpoint it would make sense to grind for a Cider.

In one destiny your character steals some cider and goes to the surface, so yes, it should be possible to go to the surface even if you died as long as you are immortal.
