So, since it is implied (explicitly stated?) that
starlight == law via correspondence, this applying to sunlight as well
, what does that entail for photosynthesizers? (more spoilers below the cut!!!)

Plants convert solar energy into sugar via photosynthesis, does this mean plants essentially convert the Correspondence into food? Does plant produced glucose contain traces of Law? If so, what does that imply for us?

If motion on the great chain can be facilitated through phagy (eating things higher), what does the consumption of this star sugar imply? Is that how souls grow?

I'd love yalls thoughts on this!!!

In their darkest circles, where even the judgements whisper in fear, they whisper of one thing only. They do not whisper of their previous rulers, dead and decaying as they are. They do not speak of those that wish to unseat them, the weak and the helpless that are-not. Nor The misty plots of the devils, the endarkend traitors, the beings still lurking in their lost and forgotten wells. No, the judgements whisper of something else. Something they cannot fight.

The law eaters. The beings who will never bow. Widespread enough that annihilation is impossible. Small enough to be nearly invisible.
Reproducing at such speeds that entire areas were lost before a judgement could realize they had been invaded.

Even All of this would not be enough to make the stars fear. such enemies were not new. But the law eaters were unique. They consumed every aspect of law they touched. They made the slow untouchable law tangible. They made drink of the language of gods. Stars disappeared, choking and drowning on heavy vines. replaced by bright colors and the steady growth of roots. Gentle shifting instead of fiery roars.

Their mere existence gives servants power over their masters. Their mere existence devours the stars. And of this, the judgements are afraid.

Wasn't Viric, that deep green, associated with the Is-Not Lack of Law of Parabola? What would be more plantish than a deep green.
Alternatively the law is not seen as being eaten, but what is sustaining plants. They do not exist without law.

That aside it's worth mention that there's such details left unaddressed; how the heavenly bodies' physical interactions with the world intersect with Fallen London's metaphysical such as photosynthesis and the like.

This should be the text you get when you feed one of the Sackses to your Singular Plant.
