Does Trickster drop melancholy quality?

I'm considering switching professions from my current job as a Midnighter to the Trickster path. In researching this on the wiki, I see that the option to adopt this profession from the Urchins' connection card lowers melancholy, while the option from the Hell connection card appears not to.
I really want to keep Myrto's melancholy quality above 12, so can anyone confirm that using the Hell connection card does NOT reduce melancholy?

Having checked in with some other players, I can confirm it does not lower melancholy.
