There's only one more week of questions until Sacksmas! The more questions you answer, the fuller your stockings will be!*

There are a number of Sunless Sea items in the game (Solacefruit, Deep-Zee Catch, Vital Intelligence, to name three off the top of my head) that can be rarely obtained from certain actions in Fallen London. There's no way to transfer the items over to Sunless Sea, and as of yet they have no use (although they may do one day). They're just a bit of fun cross-over, and some people collect them. edited by Barselaar on 12/24/2016

I know the prerequisites for adopting proteges. It is not first time I am doing this Notmally there will be some of my acquaintances on that list not only the person I am trying to adopt. But now, I have no one on that list. not the people showing there before and not the person I just exchanged calling card to adopt. They have managed to send me the request for patronage but I think something is glitching for the patrons to send requests. There's definitely a bug there (encountered by several players): You can't send an invitation to a potential protege (even though they qualify), yet that same acquaintance has no problem sending you a request to be their patron.

@Greenstar54:
The answer to 1) and 2) is a clear, resounding No. Sorry. edit: Patron works until you have 100 in a stat. If you can lower your stats with Rattus Faber, you can still find a Patron, but I don't think it's worth it...
For 3) try Unfinished Business in Veilgarden for Honey/Spite for Souls, and Thefts in the Flit for Brilliant Souls. You can also find Honey in the Court, if you have access.
About 4): You could have a look at their Profiles and see when they last echoed something. edited by phryne on 12/23/2016

It will halve either hedonist or austere, but nothing else. There aren't any permanent problems for the menace states besides jail. But the game does apparently track the number of times you died, so something could happen with that.

The game doesn't count how many times you die, it only counts how much chess you played with the Boatman(and the downside is that the challenge gets harder and harder until the risk simply isn't worth it).
I didn't mean that, I mean I heard there's an unseen quality counting how many times you've died.
Wait, where was this mentioned? Never heard of this before.
I have no idea. It was some old forum thread, but I honestly can't be more specific or even tell you if its true. (It wasn't a dev who posted it, it was someone else). But I thought I may as well bring it up

Sorry, I know everyone and their dog keeps asking this - but are there any updates on the option to send a box of 100 Fate to an acquaintance? I was hoping to be able to give a (real-life) friend a Christmas gift this way. Last I saw a few days ago, no, it's still Impossible.

As far as I'm aware, depending on your choices in previous stories, you can either talk to the Wife and the Butler or the Iconoclast and Harris - some of the conversations are mutually exclusive.

How do you get a incarnadine fur robe?
Pay 30 fate for Masters to shovel your snow when snow comes to you, note that you won't get a pail of snow through this action.
Is that the only way?
Well, there is a more expensive way to do it if you are at a very specific part of a specific quest, if you are at the part of the story of the cave of the N____ where you need C_____ you can pay 50 fate to get both the item and the robe, but this is more expensive and much more specific.

What are the odds of opening two cat boxes in rapid succession and acquiring two Starveling Cats? Well, the odds of getting a Starveling Cat from a box seem to be about 5%, give or take. So two success in a row have a probability of 1/400, or 0.25%.

Sacksmas is going on, no big changes have been made. There'll be a seasonal story coming out soon, about Jenny and the Empress's Shadow. Some new rewards have been added to the fate option of snowbound.
Criminals, Tomb Colonists and Docks now have renown rewards at 10, 25 and 40 renown. 10 From opp card, 25 from a specific location (visible at 10 renown) and 40 in a more out of the way location.
Sunless Skies is coming along nicely with the odd dev blog post, kickstarter starts beginning of february.
That's probably everything.
