Christmas destiny

So I am trying to plan some of the events I need to fulfill within this christmas season, but does anyone know what time was the latest you could get a destiny at christmas last year and in previous years? This would be very helpful.

Only FB know when Fallen London will see its first snow this year - it could happen today, or in two weeks from now! You'll notice it when the way to your Lodgings is blocked.
At some point, there'll be an option to buy Pails of Snow from Urchins (on their card). We might also get an additional Pail via the Advent Calendar.
Pails of Snow will have a storylet called The Oracle of the Lintel which will lead you to the Destinies.
You may or may not know that Neathmas uses a quality called "Putting the Pieces Together: the Taste of Lacre" (PtPT: ToL or simply ToL). You'll need ToL 1 to play the Oracle storylet.
How do you get ToL? By doing some strange things with your Pail of Snow. So, unless you have some ToL over from last winter, your plan would be this: 1) First Pail of Snow: get some ToL, 2) Second Pail of Snow: Get your Destiny.
