I imagine this is because the day 2 code hasn't been released yet. If in doubt, releases usually occur around 12 GMT.

Each day's window will open at noon GMT. We'll send out reminders on our other channels at that time as well so people know when it's available.

So, are we still sending Christmas cards to Mr Eaten?

I just did earlier so it's definitely possible.

The text for day two made me smile. What an adorable translation of a Surface tradition!

Oh, right, now I seem to remember. Thanks for the answer!

Just to confirm: I didn’t receive any new Cards today. Reminder text on the card itself now says: “From 5th December until Christmas Day, you will receive new Christmas cards each week via Time, the Healer”. Looks logical, as it makes three full calendar weeks, so everyone will get an equal number of cards.

  • It appears to work.

It also seems possible to send cards to Seekers who have passed beyond, so London's poor mailmen must really be bringing their A-game this year. smile

Thanks for the clarification! A Christmas card along with some vaguely romantic poetry has been dispatched down the well. I might be losing my marbles. Again.

Oh the irony! For the past few days I've been compiling books of Hidden Bodies from proscribed material only to start my voyage of scientific discovery... just to be given one as a present! It's just as if Cheery Man knew all about my efforts and was secretly laughing at me all these days!

A bold Licentiate, not quite sociable, but open for any interaction. Except for, maybe, a certain photographer's trail.

What can a Book of Dead Bodies be used for? I already have a landau, a club, and reinstatement at the University. I remember these things where the devil to acquire, I just wish I could put mine to use!

So, today's gift is a Book of Hidden Bodies, what I believe is one of the most irritating and obnoxious grinds in the game...

    I love you, Failbetter Games

Mmmmm... what lady wouldn't enjoy opening today's window to see the Cheery Man glowering back at her? Big Grin

Sadly, the gift wasn't him popping out of a giant cake, but a book of hidden bodies is good too :P

Alas, when I login from Safari / Mac, click [ x ] Remember Me, then visit the Advent Calendar, click [3], I get taken to a login page, and never get to see the description of the item. A Book of Bodies, I think.

Today's gift has made me smile, I try to keep at least one of any advanced items on me when at all possible, but my books were consumed by embarking on an expidetion not far back, so getting one of these is positively lovely, though those men must have had a long walk to Heartscross House.

    Hello Delicious Friends,

...First Sacksmas here. I am very happy with the freebies from the advent calendar, rare stuff I am treasuring with great delight (and which could be useful in some near future).
I am still intrigued with the event involving Mr. Sacks, the "Taste of Lacre" and the other peculiar items/creatures of the end of the year. It should be interesting.

    Bye for now, Delicious Friends!

    Hello everyone!

I recently received a message about keeping the Urchin card:

"When you encounter it, hold on the Urchins Connected Card - word has it that it will pay dividends this month. Passing the message along from a PoSI".

Is this true and is this somewhat related to Sackmas?

Last Sackmas we could buy odd buckets of snow from the little price gougers. So there's no harm in holding onto the Urchin card should you draw it.
