I wanted to ask what I need to have prepared to be a POSI? All stats to 100 with gear, 50 mysteries or Bazaar permits... I remember something about clothes and connections...

I apologize for any and all anachronisms. I am too lazy to check some facts if I am sure they are from the 1890s or sometimes think they are.

After the stats, the rest is less certain. You need like either a good property you live at, or high end wardrobe, or something else for instance. There are a few steps like this, requiring just one option of many. Tbh I'd say not too worry about anything save the stats at 100 each, once you start the storyline you can see what it requires as you go along and most requirements you should already have fulfilled if you're at the point where you've 100 in every stat

The 50 mysteries/bazaar permits are used to buy houses afer you become PoSI, so you don't need to worry about that.

For lodgings you only need a partially high end place, or a bunch of the low tier dwellings. I recommend a bunch of the low tier buildings for scrap build up. Each lodging comes with a card that allows for scrap collection and making waves.

I've to disagree: later on in the game low level lodgings clogging your hand are very annoying and cannot be removed.
You'll eventually see several options: you need to fulfill just one of them.

I agree.
For me, the cheapest/easiest option would be the one based on your connections (on my main I spent several hundred echoes on clothes I didn't really need, but on my alt all I had to do was raise my Connected Church a little higher).

I wanted to ask, I just completed the skill checks. Do I have to wait some time now or just hope the RNG has Mercy for the options?

Hope the RNG has mercy. But it won't.

So, I know this derails the thread, but why is it called RANDOM Number Generator? It isn't random. It is just mean! If you need a certain card, it doesn't work randomly but lets you wait for years! Every time!

Short question, since most of the things after the cards... achievements are either archeology or rely on cards, I suppose the easiest is banishment from court (persuasive route)? My character isn't particularily concerned about works (or correspondence) anyways.

Do you really want to anger it further by calling it unfair and evil in it's name?

I would still consider it a pain, for the sheer amount of actions you need to put in.

I think it's four or five. Be aware that if you make the right choice of literary work, you are awarded a big bunch of fascinating when it's completed.
hint: remember you are ROMANCING someone...!
