Ok not sure if this is a bug or the game broke?

So i logged in today, hit continue and got hit with a black screen with a very small area in the upper right that was part of the sea in game other than that i could do nothing. I have no idea what happen or could of happen that would cause the game to do that, not sure if i could start over after all i been through either just too much dying well more dying than moving forward.
