After completing "Re-establish your academic reputation" I'm able to further study the Correspondence, which was my primary purpose for going on scientific expeditions, but it's been days and there still isn't anything besides "Shadowy Dealings" despite the claim of There was no actual offer of employment. But that will come in time
So do I have to wait even longer, or is there something else I have to do?

Have you bred any animals in the labyrinth yet? One of them [spoiler](fate required) has a card that increases Scholar to 10 without having to spend all the supplies.[/spoiler]
