The challenge to use a Searing Enigma to remove Peckish requires Lessons of the Chapel, so if you want to remove your Peckish you'll have to attend another service first.
Mechanically Unaccountably Peckish isn't really that bad, surprisingly. It lets you eat crewmembers when out of Supplies but I don't know of any cases where it actively forces something bad to happen. (And by the way, eating at the Chapel is only a 20% chance of giving Peckish.)

It's not mechanically bad, but I generally try to avoid voluntarily earning it on principle unless my Captain's a downright evil person.

Just so you know, you're not a bad person. You're a Londoner. You can't possibly be a bad person out in the Zee. Everything you do is right.

I just checked if I could do anything at the Chapel of Lights. Unfortunately the option where I attend a service isn't there. The only options available include providing salt for their feast and sacrificing a nightmare to the well. (I really don't want to do that.) I didn't attend all of the services, only one. I'm scared I won't be able to discard of this menace once more. Is this a bug, or is it intentional?

Nevermind, I looked back at the wiki and removing your Peckish is an ending of sorts to the Chapel storyline. You won't be able to do more lessons or forget them either.

Once again, thank you for your assistance! It's much appreciated! I wish there were more ways to get rid of the peckish menace. I feel like it's easier to get than it is to get rid of.
