I have encountered this bug once before. When I docked in fathomkings hold, due to me being a bit too hasty, I immediately clicked on the fathomkings hold button before it was done switching to the unique fathomkings hold background. After I was done with my business with the fathomking, I could not get background to switch to the normal background where you can see your ship. With that being the case I immediately quit the game before something nsaty happens to my ship. Anyone had encountered this bug before?

Yeah, it's been around for a while. I've never had any adverse effects on my save; as far as I can tell it's just a visual bug preventing you from seeing the game world until restarting.
