This happened to me a while back, and I did report it at the time. IIRC it was a bug, though by the time they got back to me, I'd visited the labyrinth to erase it..

Time, the Healer, brought each of my characters one point of Unnacountably Peckish. Neither of them had any, I have no interest in Seeking, and my main was already Free of the Name. Should I report this as a bug? And is there any way of ensuring my characters won't be dragged into Seeking again?

Wait, I'm a new player and was unaware this was a bug. I checked the wiki and saw I could lower this by just eating Chestnuts. Does that mean I have inadvertently started SMEN? Or left myself open to receiving the second black card?

You don't start SMEN just by having UP. And if you only have 1 UP you should only get 1 black card. The non-chestnut option will start SMEN though.

Oh but suinicide -- that non-chestnut option is so delicious ....

Is there a way to request a jewelled gift? There are some threads that help with areas to get venom rubies, but since they're either Fate-locked or for PoSi's, I can't access them. Also, these threads are about 1-2 years old.
I am only missing one venom ruby to complete my keen-eyed lapidary quest and I am desperate!

You can get rubies (and other jewels) in the Pickpocket's Promenade in the alleys of Spite.

Thank you very much, good sir.

Lallinka is accepting any social interactions as soon as my actions allow it. No Loitering and no Photographer, please. Available for interviews about Nemesis and a Midnighter for Orphanages.

Ragish is accepting everything, including Loitering and Photographer. Available for interviews about Heart's Desire and a Crooked-cross for Salons.

Pienkava is freshly out of prison and will need charity to survive in the harsh streets of London. Have pity, she is only fifteen.

I've just encountered Wine and Cake with the Bohemian Sculptress. I understand the statistical outcomes of my decision, but just who are the Nocturnals, Bazaarans, and Celestials?
EDIT:After a bit more digging, I found an aricle on the Wiki.
1. The Nocturnals, radicals who relish the freedom from traditional forms - and moralities - that the darkness of the Neath permits.
2. The Bazaarines, both venal and visionary, who find inspiration in the engine of commerce and mystery that is the Bazaar.
3. The Celestials, nostalgic, romantic, often religious, who write passionately of the Surface.
4. You reject all labels and associations! You are your own creature.

Can anyone expand a bit on what these organizations mean? Spoilers welcome in ambiguous form. What I mean to say is, which cultural group belongs to each School? Obviously The Masters/The Great Game goes with the Bazaarans.

Yes, I am accepting Requests to Loiter Suspiciously, and Affluent Photographers.
Just because I finished the storylines doesn't mean I can't help others. You could even message me with a Selfishness, can never have too many bats.

They don't really come up after you choose one. Not much to expand on.

I finally started getting Confident Smiles and Sudden Insights for Rewards. And I notice now that you have to check off a box before making the decision if you wish to use one. If you pass the challenge the first time, do you lose the Retry Item?

Actually, it is possible to switch later in the Singing Mandrake in Veilgarden. If you change your mind (there is a cost, however).
