I just noticed the format of FL mantelpiece URLs has changed. Until recently, a space in your name would be "~" in the URL; now it becomes "SPACESYMBOL". This change happened within the last few days, I think, because I set up this account a few days ago and it was still a "~" then. This means anybody with a name with a space in it, your link in your forum signature is just redirecting people to the general FL logon page. Dunno if this is permanent, but I didn't see anyone else talking about it, so I thought I'd mention it. Also, I don't think this is really the right section to post under, but I figured it would probably get the most notice in this section. Edit: Putting in an actual space or "%20" in the URL also works for both Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. If someone tests in other browsers, I'll add it here. edited by Pumpkinhead on 10/15/2016 edited by Pumpkinhead on 10/15/2016 edited by Pumpkinhead on 10/16/2016

I noticed this too... let's just say I'm not thrilled!
In Firefox at least, just using a simple spacing character still works. edited by phryne on 10/15/2016

Oh bother! And why must I have so many spaces in my name?!

Just tested phryne's link in Edge too; also works. Don't know about Chrome or anything else.

This . . . is highly frustrating.
I would have liked FBG to have told us about this, considering social actions are a massive part of the game . . . and this may explain why suddenly I have a drop. I'll change my links in a moment to reflect the change, but dang I'm peeved off . . . maybe FBG just wasn't aware, I'm hoping, but no word from them at all?

Has anyone cross posted this to the singing mandrake?

I find it highly unlikely that FBG deliberately changed the link to http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/RobinSPACESYMBOLAlexander

can confirm that a regular space character works in Chrome though it automatically becomes "%20"

To invite others to fill them, of course

Wow. This is annoying.
