Took a break, now I have no idea what I'm doing.

I used to really love this game, and got a fair ways into it.
Then... I took a break. Got bored of it. Now I'm back... and well, I cannot for the life of me remember what I'm doing. For example, I can't really remember who the honey addled detective is. Or what cases I'm working on. Or what half the stuff on the "myself" page are. Is there any way that I can sort of look back through a story I did, without resetting the game?

The wiki has all the stories that aren't fate locked. Search for the related quality and you can see at least some of the text for every level.
The honey addled detective is just a guy who gives you a few cases to solve. If you're currently on a case there should be options to work on it at ladybones road.
In general though, if you don't know what to do, just look around the city and play through any stories that are available. Especially those marked "making your name" since that will directly advance the plot and open up new areas.

Currently the only stories you can reminisce about are ambitions. Hopefully FB will add the option to reminisce others at some point but until then I'd use the wiki.

- if you got a fair way into it, you'll probably finished with the Detective.
- what London areas do you have open?
- have you started the Making Your Name trackers? Those are fairly good at guiding progress in the pre-POSI game.

I find myself with the same lack of ship...
I have been poking around for the past few days, picking up a few things here and there.
Now I am in the middle of the part I had forgotten..... failing 5 out of 6 times on a 67% challenge..... ugh....
And this was after accidentally visiting the Mirror-Marshes for the first time.....
Ugh!
