O, I sank beneath the mare
betwixt the bubbling Zee
to vistas without air
amidst the darkened deep.
Twas horror in my eye
that drove me to my fate,
the ghastly starry sky,
will never animate
These tearstruck strangled cries,
they haunt the below now,
far from prying eyes,
or so I thought somehow.
Yet the terrors of the surface,
they pale here in the deep,
I hear the whispers mounting,
I feel the shadows creep.
Soon I will be found here,
abandoned in the deep.
A cold embrace will find me
and in the shadows keep.
To the developers of Sunless Sea and the Unterzee expansion: Thank you for all the hard work.
