I've traveled to the cave of Nadir a couple times now and one of the options on the cards was to turn my Parabola-Linen Suit into one filled with Irrigo. If I chose this option, would I need to repurchase a normal Parabola-Linen Suit in order to become a Legendary Charisma?

Yep. The irrigated... irrigoed... well-you-know-what-I-mean version will not count for that.
