greetings I joined two days ago and I'm very puzzled about this one. How do I go forward on continue the case with the strange man who's ready to die? Is there a trick to this?

It's related to this month's/cycle's Exceptional Story. To continue it one needs to be what's known as an Exceptional Friend (it's a subscription service).
Exceptional Stories are released monthly as a bonus/draw for subscribers. If you're not one, outside of the teaser storylets they're not something you need to be concerned about.
