Terrible Android app experience

Hi all!
I really don't want to offend the app developers, but the current Android app is... Lacking. Quite a lot, to be honest. Slow, sluggish, lagging even on a high-end phone, and just feels out of place. Obviously the design was trying to follow Material to some extent, but failed miserably.
Is there a chance that we will see a better designed app, or maybe an open API for Fallen London?

We will be continuing to support and optimise the app. In fact, if you're experiencing any issues or bugs, we'd love to hear about it at mobilesupport@failbettergames.com so we can log and investigate anything players are experiencing that is less than favourable.
