As i have said before my Fallen London RPG uses Savage Worlds (https://www.amazon.com/Savage-Worlds-Deluxe-Explorers-S2P10016/dp/1937013200) as a base rule set. I'll be outlining some of the characters I've made here that can be used as both NPCs, one-shot characters or as pregenerated character for a campaign.

Loyal: never betrays or disappoints friends

Surfacer's Health: +1 toughness and +2 to resist all environmental effects
Attractive: +2 charisma
Scavenger: find an essential piece of equipment once per session
As an NPC: Euphemia can be used as a clerk for a bookstore who may ask the players to help her find someone to sponsor her at the University and be used as a land lady for players looking to live in a Room above a Bookshop.
As a player: Her ambition seems very straightforward, so be sure to make the player jump through some hoops before you let them enroll. Once they're there they can attend classes to increase their knowledge of chemistry, medicine, science and healing.
