Oh, certainly Catherine. I never meant to imply consensual behavior involving apparent contention is a problem for me. But I would not consider that confrontational game-play, rather co-operative since it involves an active agreement to conflict.

Having said that, I find writing such conflicts is exhausting to me, and produces stress in my real life that I prefer to avoid. But it's all just taste.

There are many many more players than before. The sheer number of people doing grief action would completely cripple people.

And I am a selfish spoilsport that want FBG to continue other stories instead of keep adding high-maintenance options to the one very finished story.

Yes. I'd say it'd have to be capped, and something seekers know they're dealing with when they trigger it- say, seekers with menaces above 7 cannot be backstabbed, so even at the worst, they're just stuck in a state of perpetual menace level 7ish, not stuck in the menace zone all the time. And i agree with the sentiment, i'd rather new stories than this- but if it's not too much trouble, doing this would be neat.

I will accept all social actions that do not consume free evenings- and i will provide patronage to anyone who requests it, though it will be split between all requesters.
On psudeo-hiatus. Will be inactive and active and fluctuate without warning.
