So I was just browsing through revelations as one is wont to do on a Monday night and look what I came across.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Sounds like a Heptagoat to me!

Yet a Heptasheep is born of an Ewebersheep, surely?

You realize you're giving FBG ideas, don't you? Ewebersheep? How can they resist?

The lamb is agreed upon to be Jesus so if we follow a strictly biblical interpretation the Heptagoat is the antichrist.

So bringing about the antichrist is cheaper than cider. Got it.

Actually upon further consideration the Heptagoat is most likely the opposite of this lamb. The lamb is the symbol of our Lord while the goat is the symbol of the Devil.

I don't know much of the lore behind the Heptagoat, maybe Nitebrite can help, but I do know that the three levels of caprine authority are crown of eyes, crown of horns, and crown of hearts. Eyes and horns are already present in this passage and hearts could easily be an alternate translation of spirits. We also have the multiple repetitions of 7 used to create the Heptagoat.

The Devils are also frequently referenced as having goat demons so goats having something to do with Devils would fit. I suppose this means that if we are to truly defeat hell we don't need weapons or soldiers. We need a sheep. Not just any sheep. Not even an Oversheep or an Ubersheep. But a Heptasheep!

So which is a better name for the goat / sheep, Satan or Lucifer or something else?

I will be very disappointed now if there isn't a story where the Bishop fights the Heptagoat, and hopefully wrestles it. I expect at least one scene where he tries to headbutt the Heptagoat as its charging and they both bounce off each other with equal amounts of concussions.

The Bishop isn't fearless. If he runs from an owl, the Heptagoat probably will make him do worse.
