Hey folks! Here's this week's thread for quick, hopefully easy-to-answer questions! Also, here's one from the tail end of the old thread.

I know this question comes up rather frequently, but I was wondering what people's opinion on Fate locked content. I was thinking of picking up a bundle of 100 fate (plus my 18 that I have gathered naturally), but I am trying to figure out the best way to spend this?

So far, I have heard Soul Trade and Lost in Reflections are good choices, but what are some other good options?

(I have already played Flint, so that is out)

Both excellent choices! Off the top of my head, I also quite enjoyed Cut With Moonlight. The Waltz That Moved The World had some deep lore that's still yet to be entirely plumbed, if that's what you're into. The Frequently Deceased had some fascinating insights into the practicalities of employment in London.

So, I just got my Trade Secret for the month. Should I spend it on a much needed Watchful boost, obtain a Searing Enigma and Antique Mysteries for my echo grind and for Seeking fodder, or save it for a second Classic Short Story?

Watchful boost is terribly expensive, and prices it so highly swapping chess games has an equivalent epa in the high single digits.

You're going to need to throw one short story down a well, but i doubt you'd need another, so do as you will there.

125 echoes is nothing to sneeze at, and probably the best use of your secret, unless you need another classic.

The Fisher-Kings stick exclusively to the rooftops, never touching the ground. They use fishing-lines to steal trinkets from passers-by. The Regiment are the most militaristic gang - they're the ones who got hold of an old cannon. The Knotted Sock are collect scraps - of clothing and of knowledge. They live in a spooky old rookery and fight with weaponised socks. The Noughts and the Crosses spend all their time competing for control of the same three-by-three set of city blocks. Presumably, when one gang gets three-in-a-row, they wipe the board clean and start again.
