Slowcake's Amanuensis told me I need 20 MW to move from 5 to 6 notability. I achieved 20, then he said I needed 24. I had a very successful Salon, Made 28 Waves and then the smarmy git tells me I need 30. I am becoming weary of chasing goal posts that keep galloping towards the glimfall. Am I not greasing the right palms?
Time the Healer is imminent and I think I'll just go back to robbing rats this week.

You need to equip the highest BDR items you have; each level of Bizarre/Dreaded/Respectable will lower the required amount of Making Waves by 1 level.

Have you had a change of outfit lately? The more bizarre, dreaded, and respectable (collectively, BDR) you are, the less making waves you'll need to gain a level of notability.
