I managed to get my Labyrinth of Tigers route going so I can Take Refreshments and am currently slogging my way through the Flit. Pro-tip for anyone starting a new character for more normal purposes, DO NOT finish Making Your Name in Spite, then grind A Name Scrawled in Blood all the way to the Labyrinth, then switch immediately to Making Your Name in the Flit. I've ended up having to grind Fearsome Duelist, Procurer of Savage Beasts, and Master Thief to 5 all back to back. These grinds are super samey and frustrating as they feature a gypsy curse that makes you fail at everything.
I'm almost clear of Master Thief now and while I'd love it if the next step took me to Bats and Cats I'll take anything that isn't "build up this quality and spend it to murder/rob something over and over". While I broadly believe Making Your Name is a net positive change, on an emotional level my recent experience hasn't exactly enamored me to it's existence.
