Is there something I can do to make the Card-crafting easier and/or faster? Sending Coins and Surprise Boxes to Parabuteo? I have the Proscribed materials to get a Card, but not the necessary SMEN level; to reach the secrets of the Isles the shedding of most wordly possessions seems required, so they won't be of much use.

Easier, yes, probably. sending coins and surprise boxes will give them more resources, funding any echo intensive routes, or compensating them for their time. After all, two such routes are the seeker's 1-in-5 chance of an enigma for 77 appaling secrets, [abet with a lower chance of loss of an extant enigma on failure], and the truthbreaker turbine, which gives, assuming the range averages in the middle, 4 enigmas for 312.5 echoes in uncanny incunabula. Faster? not so much- the slow parts are twofold. Get the 7 enigmas, which being willing to bleed echoes can save a bit of time on, but 7.5 echoes is, what, 5 actions, and get 2542 proscribed materials, which it cannot help with at least. Thankfully, the second will usually be faster than the first.
That said, I'm sure none of us would be annoyed by gifts of surprise packages and transferable currency. This is saying it doesn't help that much with the process, not that they wouldn't be nice to have anyways.
EDIT: Nyarllathotep requested the card from me, and I provided it to... him? xem? her? it's always hard to tell with seekers, between the rags and haggard complexion, and more for one with such a neathy name as that. Well, regardless, I hope it helps Xem on Xyr way.

As regards the speed of manufacture-- essentially, the restriction is action count more than echo count (theoretically it could be boosted by buying Proscribed Materials straight up, but that's 2567.42e/card, which is Somewhat Unfeasible). The most helpful things would probably be Sudden Insights as Truthbreaker Insurance and Coins as there's no action/opportunity cost on accepting them, but even that's not a huge productivity boost, and it won't be long* before I burn all my material possessions for warmth on the trip NORTH. Grateful for anything sent my way, of course, but don't worry too much about it, hah.
*I'll be taking a break from card-production briefly to knock out another candle or two soon, but I won't be going NORTH at least until marriage options are back. Hopefully I can churn out a few more in that time.

I would also appreciate a card, as I am determined to get Destin's candle via Torment (it's the only way that fits with the flavor text, darn it!), but I won't quite make it before the end of the Christmas season if I continue at 1 level/week.

The normal source for cards doesn't manifest until 29. OFC, you could wait a month from free cards, but... 21 isn't really that close.

I haven't the foggiest idea who is at the top of the list, might I suggest a Google Doc or something similar? I've sent a Card to... someone, I do not think they are at the top of the list. I will make amends for this as soon as I get a few Enigmas and can figure out who is next.

I politely request that when you hit 29, you grind up the resources for a card of your own, and pass this one on. You don't have to, but it'd help the other people in line get through sooner.
