Nemesis , Bag A Legend and Light Fingers implied that [spoiler]we may be fighting against 1 or 2 of the masters.[/spoiler] That could mean a permanent death ending for the player, or maybe getting exiled from London.

That's a pretty cool idea, but I don't think it'd happen . . .
FBG would have to give huge warning for one thing, as a lot of people would be peeved - especially if they're playing RL money - for their account to just . . . end. It'd spoil the actual surprise, as well as preventing some people already playing from achieving the 'true' end, if they weren't willing to sacrifice an entire account (without any warning at the very start of the ambition that their time invested would lead to this).
Plus . . . "Bag a Legend" and "Light Fingers" could fit brilliantly with some destinies without killing the character off. In fact, killing them off would contradict some specific destinies . . . I'm not sure what's spoilers or not, so I'll just say: it'd probably be better to let the character live.

Speaking of Ambitions, nine months later, may I ask whether anyone's heard anything about FBG actually adding any content to these lines? Seems it's been dark for a while, and with Alexis' departure...

The latest we've heard is that their writing staff has recently reached the point where they have extra bandwidth every month after other obligations are satisfied (Exceptional Stories, bugs, seasonal content). So adding free content is now something that can actually happen, whereas before it could not. They have not mentioned Ambitions directly, but their info on this topic has always come in the context of people asking about Ambitions.
