Okay. I have given away my candle and I have ten free actions.

(If it turns out that only the *receiver* gains the candle, I can reciprocate the action for you later this week - I'll have enough time between now and the Feast of the Rose to acquire *another* Destin's the normal way if necessary.)

It is also worth noting - dear sweet heavens, losing Destin's is *painful*. From no menaces, I reached 6 wounds, 5 nightmares

Both of us have obtained a Candle. Worth the halved stats, Wounds, Nightmares, and Suspiscion.

I too have a candle! And I've only lost four or five levels of stats, which isn't even as much as I've lost going to the Nadir weekly.

This is by far the easiest way to gain Destin's we have yet been offered.

Did it really halve your stats, though? That's rough...

Does this new option give both people Destin's then? And what are the requirements for both parties?

The new option gives both Destin's (although we didn't test to see what happens if the other party *refuses*, for obvious reasons.) At least 77 in all stats, no Destin's candle, and each of the confessions for the giver. The receiver only needs SMEN 3, apparently.

What is also interesting is that the giver gains the candle as soon as they send the invitation, so perhaps they get to keep it even if the receiver refuses the request. I would certainly hope so after all that effort...

Does the recipient need Cerise?

To say absolutely everything that must be said, the sender needs Saint Cerise's Candle, SMEN 35, all 7 of the new confessions,77 of each stat, and to not have Saint Destin's Candle. The recipient of the invite needs only SMEN 3 and to not have Saint Destins. When I did it, my stats actually weren't halved-my Watchful went from 199 to 111- and I think it's because of the gear I had on. I also got some menaces, wounds, nightmares and suspicion, but it was 6 points at most..I'm not sure about Teaspoon, but I imagine they experienced a static decrease rather than their stats getting halved. This was the price for 2 Saint Destin Candles, and if you have better access to Confessions than Notability, it is the best way.

I only lost 4 or 5 levels, gained no menaces, lost a few Confident Smiles and Sudden Insights - it's a bargain for the receiver.

Next question - is there anyone with a Destiny who desperately wants Destin's before the festival is over? I might be able to manage it if I can scrape up the confessions.

(I would rather not given that I just *barely* have enough Watchful to reach Winking Island even with a full set of gear, but if anyone is desperate, now's the time to mention. If you don't have a Destiny, of course, Torment is sitting right there.)

I would love Destin's if it's being given out, but it's not urgent. I don't plan to go NORTH for quite a while yet, probably not even by next Hallowmas.

I too would love Destins. I have a few confessions I can sling if you're short any in particular.

Ah, but how badly do you burn for it? What sacrifices have you made? How far will you go?

Convince me and the candle is yours.

I hate having to beg for anything... but due to a severe mistake by myself, I'd really appreciate someone giving my Seeker Kvirkvelia St Destin's via this new option.

I planned to get it via Torment but didn't realize you need to be at SMEN 35 for that... I'm only at 29. I was already Down Among the Lorn-Flukes when I realized my mistake, and since it's impossible to back out from there, I had to pick another Destiny... I would rather not pay the 25 Fate to change that as I don't really want to buy any more Fate on an account destined for self-destruction (I already bought a Daughter just to throw her down a well...)

I'd be happy to help out the friendly sender in any possible way with any of my accounts!

Cortez the Killer has killed a Master, definitely.
Deepdelver has become the progenitor of London's brightest star. It's... complicated.
Dr. Kvirkvelia, gone NORTH on 23/12/1894.

This new Destin option, what is it actually called? Is it still "Let their error be eaten"?

Nullified would appreciate a destin's but understands if that is simply not possible- everything has a price, and the cost of speeding so he could give a noman to cerise is that he'll have to suffer through destin's. It shouldn't be too terrible, he supposes- especially if he puts off destin's and the ones after until winking isle is completed. I mean, it's not going to be pleasant, but this is seeking.

Still, an easier way would always be nice, even if it is mined.

So that's four of you who want it. I'm still working on a seventh and last confession, but - hmm. Tricky.

At SMEN 49, is Knave of Regrets the only card that will increase it? Knight of Feasts does not.

KNAVE OF REGRETS should only work with SMEN up to 24. KNIGHT OF FEASTS works with SMEN up to 27.
