Once you have the Knock you're unable to ever go NORTH again (the voyage there is locked with it). Thanks for the confirmation. That's a bit disappointing, but understandable.
I was hoping that it might be possible to get the Knock and still pursue Seeking (perhaps from the start - which would not be unbalanced since Seeking costs so much to get to the very end).

The 100 Fate option isn't for removing scars - there's a separate one with a cost I don't recall off the top of my head that's much cheaper and is specifically for removing them.

It's ten Fate times the number of Scars you have, off the top of my head.
And while getting the Knock does lock you out of going NORTH again, and going NORTH locks the Seeking Road forever, by getting it you'be essentially done all of SMEN. The only thing you miss is a proper ending... and, to me at least, what's more in the spirit than sacrificing even a proper resolution to your struggles?

Wait, is it? Huh, they must have changed it sometime after bringing SMEN back, because I recall the price being fairly low and not dependent on the number of scars you have.

I'll admit my memory is pretty hazy, but I first visited Fluke Street during the hiatus and I remember seeing that option. I don't remember the fate cost but it seemed pretty clear that each time you used it it would only heal one scar. So it's not like the fate cost scales with scars so much as you have to pay for each scar individually. That's just what I remember though, I could be wrong.

Ah, that makes sense (apologies - I'm both tired and it's been ages since I've seen the option).

And now the Destin option is technically available. Here's hoping someone tests to see if it cuts your stats or not. Idk if I'm willing to grind watchful back up for heading back to Winking Isle

So turns out St. Erzulie doesn't remove Torment. Makes sense, and not new info, but a small surprise that (I ended up just changing my destiny as the prospect of grinding watchful is not fun, and I'm inpatient as hell).

Can anyone tell me, on average, how many days it takes to get 1/7 SMEN on winking isle? Or, alternatively, what their average SMEN per day is?

In half an hour, I can do the new Destin's option. Need a few more actions....

I spent two days earning 7 SMEN.
I spent another day earning none.
I spent two more days earning one level a day.
(You can probably get at least one level a day, though it should also be noted that I go in for mild gambling.)

On a related note: I can't see the new Destin's option. Which is possibly because I have just earned it through Torment.
Can someone tell me what's entailed so I know whether I can get Destin's twice in one festival? (I'd like to try that turn-in option if possible.)

You can't have Destin I believe, must have Cerise, need one of all the new confessions this year. I...think that's it? There might've been a stat requirement (ie, 77 of all four), and likely the same SMEN requirement as the Torment option. If you want, perhaps go to the Winking Isle and use the Lighthouse as iirc that consumes Destin, then come back for the second one. BUT the new option might cut all your stats in half. We don't know, but it's suspected to be similar to an Old Smen option that had that effect. We shall know soon.

Can someone tell me what's entailed so I know whether I can get Destin's twice in one festival? (I'd like to try that turn-in option if possible.) From the looks of it, this Destin Option may work even better than I thought, but it also has a catch. Just like the original option, I need to send something to someone. I need someone with SMEN 3 or more who DOESN'T have Saint Destin's candle. Chances are, it halves BOTH of our stats, but it might just do it to whoever I send it to. On the same note though, it MIGHT give both of us Saint Destin's Candle.
So, who wants to experiment?
*EDIT* All is clear now. It will halve my characters stats, but it will do someone else a kindness. I should have known;it's still a Saint Destin Candle SENDING option. What I ask is this; will someone else attempt this madman's feat? I burned my Notability from 12 to get this opportunity, so if there is someone else lacking in Saint Destin's Candle, let us be damned together. Candle for Candle, we will burn, or so I hope we can.As stated earlier, all you need to accept is SMEN 3 and no Saint Destin, but to send it you need 35. edited by Morucant on 10/31/2016

Give me twenty minutes to go burn this candle on Winking Island, and I'll take you up on that.

Hmm.
I wish I hadn't drunk all my coffee now. Well, I'll wait until I have the requisite actions, and if someone's accepted before me, so be it.

Okay. I have given away my candle and I have ten free actions.
(If it turns out that only the *receiver* gains the candle, I can reciprocate the action for you later this week - I'll have enough time between now and the Feast of the Rose to acquire *another* Destin's the normal way if necessary.)
It is also worth noting - dear sweet heavens, losing Destin's is *painful*. From no menaces, I reached 6 wounds, 5 nightmares edited by Teaspoon on 11/1/2016
