For some reason, Sunless Sea was released as a package file, which requires an admin password to install. What specifically is it installing and where? How do I uninstall it?
In a future release, please make it just an app bundle that you can install by dragging to the Applications folder, thanks!

It installs Sunless Sea.app, READ ME.txt, and Terms and Conditions.txt into /Applications/Sunless Sea/. It also registers the bundle and writes a receipt, as all Installer operations do.
Here is the relevant portion of /var/logs/install.log, with my identifying information snipped (in spoiler tags for length):

Package files are identical to app bundles in OS X. The only difference is the appearance. In fact, you can right-click on both apps and packages and use “Show Package Contents” to look inside them.
If the app was furniture, the package file would be the box it comes in. Both the furniture and the box are objects, but the main point of the package is to open and reveal the furniture. edited by Saklad5 on 6/7/2016
