This makes me sad but I thank you for all the beautiful worlds I've visited through StoryNexus.

Thank you, Alexis, for founding the city I love.

For some reason this news hit me hard.
It's silly; it's your own decision to leave, obviously you are doing what makes you happy.
I wish you all the luck in your future endeavours (and I hope they will include freelance Failbetter work).
Also; I hope you have room for a live tiger wearing a hat...

Best of luck, be-fezzed tiger. Thanks for the deep layers you always added to the stories - as someone who fell in love with many of the Eliot references in Fallen London, having you in the forums darting through allusions in such a playful way was nothing short of refreshing. So long, and thanks for all the deep-zee catches.

Farewell to Alexis! Why rubbery kisses though?

I am pretty much sure I heard somewhere that Alexis actual leave date is June 16. But seems like I just cannot find this anymore. Any links for said statement would be much appreciated.

Alexis,
Over the past... er... (has to go and look it up... joined Twitter in January 2010 just so I could log in... okay...) six and a bit years, you've given me incalculable pleasure with your demented prose poems. You've also annoyed the living daylights out of me on more than one occasion, but only because I cared. Flint was fantastic, and I shall definitely play your new Dandelion thing.
All the best with your future endeavours.

Thank you for creating this beautiful entity that generates such wonderful stories. The things you've made have entertained me endlessly.I spend far more time thinking about the Fallen London universe than I probably should, as a sensible person with a job and obligations, etc.
I hope I'm not being overly melodramatic by saying that your creations have enriched my life, and I can't wait to see what you do next, if it's something you make to share with us.
Interesting travels!
Farewell Alexis, we'll always remember you for your last great works here in Fallen London. How will we ever forget your legacy as the dude behind the quirks polishers? Surely, this is the thing you will be remembered for through out the ages and not some other unimportant content ;-)
