I'd love to get Cider and help charity, but alas I expect the bidding will go higher then I can afford. SO I thought I'd shout out to all you forum people who either have money to help out or just really freaking want Cider. Become Immortal AND help a charity? Sounds like a deal to me.
Bidding starts on May 25 and goes till June 5th.

AnotherAccount, I realize that it's not apparent from my forum posts, but Con or Bust is run by people of color/non-white people for people of color etc., and no condescension is intended. I realize that people can reasonably disagree on the best ways to increase racial diversity in fandom, however, or the priority one puts on that, and I hope we can leave it at that, since this forum isn't really the place to go into more detail. Thanks.

I was thinking I'd stand aside and let some new folks experience the cider. I had my time in the sun. So don't let my past bidding deter you from participating in this year's auction.
If we could offer up our inventory items to aid the charity I'd totally do it. I've got some spare Mr Eaten's calling cards I wouldn't mind parting with for a good cause like this.

A big congrats to Drake, I pushed as hard as I could, but I hit my limit at $2000. Believe you me Drake, it was just as nerve-wracking for me. I have my regrets, but I'm glad it went to such a stand-up fellow. Most importantly, it's a fair bit of money raised for a good cause.

Oooh yes, the Miniature Model Ship, Monstrous Orb, M. Demaux's Advice for Captains - there's a whole untapped market here!
The River in a Box and Gilded Crustacean would be cool to get, but those feel slightly more unique in a way that wouldn't lend itself to auctions.

I do know that for the other backer story about the Vake, the player in question received a special item allowing them to both replay the story at any time and let other players go through the story themselves.

I've personally asked both backers (and gotten both social actions! The Vake social action gives out the recipient a whole extraordinary implication), and the item doesn't reset the storyline, resetting the storyline is just a storylet unlocked at their lodgings.

I'd totaly do it too, but the only thing I have worth anything is a Ubergoat.
TBH, I think you should go for it though. I mean it's for charity, and you sold your Cider for a goat that while one of a kind does nothing. I think you earned a CIder. Or at least a cool goat based action with your goat.
