Uses for Marks of Credit?

Well, I've decided as a goal I can probably accomplish to go and get as many Mark of Credit Pages as I can. Thing is, I'm not reall sure what I can use them for. I've got my Iron Republic Safe Conduct and my Violin, with the Favors/ Renown change happening investing in connections is Risky, and as far as we know there's no secret unlocks or anything, so I'm not sure why I'm doing this.

Menace reducing cards sometimes offer a better option with CtD. I only see it as a bonus from the cards, but not as an approach that I always use.

WHile I'm on the topic, does anyone know what the current highest mark of Credit amount is? I don't know if anyone else was going for them, but right now I have 20 and I'm wondering if I should put it on my Mantlepeice.
