Well, I've been grinding since March the Rubbery connection and 2 days ago I've finally got the Renown to 40, claiming the third Rubbery object! Whoo hoo!
Only to find out it's at the weapon's slot, not the companion's slot, and I already have a better persuasion weapon (from profession).
So basically that 6 month grind turned out to yield no significant prize :p
