You're not missing anything- University Tales 40 means you picked the ending that doesn't involve getting kicked out, so there's no need to re-establish your reputation.
Either way, there's nothing new at the university after that.

Myrto, if you have Featuring... 40, it means that you were never kicked from the university. It seems to indicate that you went with the "ruthless pragmatist" route, since you are only kicked when you go the "an idealist to the end" route, that gives Featuring... 30. The options you have are the normal, not-unwelcome options. So, there it is: you were never expelled from there in the first place, so you don't see the vinegar-faced man storylet.
(I take ages to type, someone bet me to it. Not erasing it, though. Too lazy even for that.) edited by Professor Strix on 4/29/2016

I imagine the Rubbery conversion will be reasonably generous. I doubt too many people have it all that high, since it converts readily into lucrative Revolutionaries connection.

Care to pet a Heptagoat? Too bad. It doesn't do anything (probably).

Dear friends and companions--
I am currently barred from the University. I hope to engage in a voyage of scientific discovery, in part so I can ingratiate myself anew. My "embarking on a voyage" is 3. I think I need it to be 4 before I can begin this voyage? I had some research I was working on at my lodgings (which is how I got to three) but it has vanished. (I suspect i used it up?) I have no recollection of how I got some in the first place. What can I do to increase "embarking on a voyage" to 4?
I am sadly confused.

Well, If you achieved embarking on a voyage 3 then you are set to go. Sail the Zee. You can now access 3 islands: Bullbone, Cropsecage, Grunting Fen at Zee. Collect the research there and organize it back at lodgings. You need 500 pages of each research (there are 3 types) to regain access to university.
Good luck!

My gracious thanks. Who knows how long I would have labored trying to reach four? I am off to sea!

From memory, it's a card you can draw in Watchmaker's Hill.

How can I obtain Acquaintance: Regretful Soldier? I already know the Wry Functionary and the Sardonic Music-Hall Singer, but this particular character seems to elude me.
If I remember rightly, I think you just need to linger around Watchmaker's Hill and draw the right opportunity card.

Hey, question: does anyone know who has the highest Mark Of Credit Pages? I thought about collecting them. You know, in case having 777 unlocks a secret option for having a ENire Mark of Credit or something. XD

Approximately 1.857 EPA, or exactly 13/7ths.
