The heptagoat is just a kid, too young to drink, and I am a responsible goat-mom. No, the only way forward that makes sense for me is more goats. That's why I am building a proper goat family of all the goats all of them, and will have a second heptagoat long before I ever consider going for the cider again. I'm already one uber in ;D

There are so many good ones these days it's hard to choose. The 1.77 EPA from rat catching for the DoE as a ratcatcher while at overcapped dangerous is nice and a definite favorite because it involves rats. I accidentally drank two bottles of oblivion (well one was an accident) so the EPA will be slightly lower now I guess, but still top notch. Then there's the 5.0 EPA from Listing Tower which is a card and knife and candle related, but its still active and relatively frequent. Of course both of those pale in value compared to [REDACTED]. edited by NiteBrite on 4/30/2016

Good luck, NiteBrite, with your goat family.
Out of curiosity, what's your preferred grinding method of choice these days?

You could see them as requirements on Lilac's Tattoo for "Mr Eaten's Name".

I think the only one never seen at all was St Erzulie's Candle while the rest were all seen in various contexts. St Arthur's Candle was from Marsh-Mired in Dreams of Sustenance; St Beau's from the Nightmare Carnival; St Cerise's from seven ways each more horrible than the last (though to my knowledge only three were released, devouring your entry in Slowcake's, sacrificing 77 Iron Knife tokens, and Winking Isle); St Destin's from the Torment destiny, being sent it at Hallowmas, and Winking Isle; St Forthigan's from sacrificing St Cerise's and St Destin's on Winking Isle; and St Gawain's was never obtainable but could be seen as the requirement for an option on the Seeking card A Contretemps in a Restaurant.

They were both just Cheerful Goldfish.
Well.. Perhaps he did not accept then in the right order =)
Storynexus didn't work like that, especially back then before all the fancy improvement they made
The one way it would have been possible would be if they used rich formula where, say, accepting Candlecurious give a quality at 1 (number A) and then have the result for accepting the other social action to give or set the Gawain quality to 1 (but capped at A).
But that requires the message to show something like "St Gawain's Candle hasn't changed, because it is lower than 1(A)".
Even now, a social action cannot change their result text based on what the recipient's quality is unless it is a quality contest ala K&C / chess / brawls - even if the results can change slightly like the above case. edited by Estelle Knoht on 4/21/2016

Wow, there's even a beating a dead horse emote. Modern technology sure is incredible.
I'm not really sure what you mean though by capped at A. Wouldn't it also be possible in theory to set some quality to 1 then set St Gawain's Candle to the value of the first quality? edited by Optimatum on 4/21/2016

Nice breakdown, Optimatum :-)
Two small nitpick items: 1. St Destin is the one promised seven ways to get, each more horrible from the last, and this is the candle you could get by devouring your Slowcake's entry. So for Cerise there were two known ways (including Winking Isle), and for Destin there were 4.
2. One player (Spacemarine9??) did get St Gawain's candle, as a prank from Alexis, giving a few hours countdown until something terrible happens if the candle isn't disposed of, or something similar. It's been years so I don't remember the details (and I think it was discussed on one of the forum threads that got Eaten).

Something terrible happens if they don't get rid of it, and they got rid of it?! What happened to the Seeking tradition?
I am fairly certain that he clicked accept (it was a social action) and Alexis just put the generic "server dies with flare" error message in with a bunch of generic SMEN penalties. Or an goldfish. The candle itself was never added into the game.
Refusing, on the other hand, would mean nothing at all - StoryNexus currently don't allow social actions to trigger something differently based on refusal / cancellation of an action. edited by Estelle Knoht on 4/21/2016
