Hi folks! I'm looking for something interesting to grind up to whilst I attempt to make the higher levels of PoSi. Namely, I'd rather work towards something with a quality attached towards it. For a while it was Chess with the Boatman, but I maxed that out already. Are there other obscure qualities out there that are grindable?

You could work on maxing out the 3 Newspaper qualities you get for publishing an edition with 104 of a specific kind of copy. It's pretty decent for Shadowy, and by the time you're done with all three you'll have earned enough stuff to sell for an Overgoat.

A rather obvious one is reaching "A Scholar of the Correspondence 21 - Courier's Footprint".
For a more obscure approach, there ist the "Putting the Pieces Together: the Drownies" quality.

I'll second the newspaper qualities. There's some fun snippets hidden amidst the various newspaper storylets.
Otherwise, have you gotten Master Thief and A Fearsome Duelist up to 10, or A Procurer of Savage Beasts up to 7? Assuming you don't have compunctions against being banished from court and have a ship, there's also successfully completing terms at Port Carnelian.

I am pretty sure they stilll increase by CPs. It's just that to increase them, you need to progress through targets with increasing CP rewards ... all the way to stealing from bazaar, dueling feducci, and capturing spidercouncils, at which point you are stuck with constant CP rewards forever (or until you hit the current cap, which apparently isn't below 50, if it exists at all).
(I have only thief 10, duelist 10, and procurer 11)

According to the wiki the increase is by level, which I'm inclined to believe as iirc the various options are open until a certain threshold of the quality but raise it by one level no matter the current level.

I'll test it myself in a little while; Madison has Procurer of Savage Beasts 25 and if it's based on CP then I should be able to see that within 2-3 attempts.

Oh, one thing - since Moods are currently unavailable, Scholar of the Correspondence 21 is unattainable. The maximum Watchful without moods is 295, with great difficulty, so the highest possible right now is SotC 20.
