I hereby petition Failbetter Games to add the phrase "It was as if an occult hand had" somewhere in Doubt Street.

I suspect this would only really be applicable if one of the FBG writers were part of that secret society. (So I disagree with including that phrase merely for the sake of doing so.)
Or, I suppose, if you were a part of that secret society and were using this post to influence the Fallen London storyline, as if by an occult hand... :-p
