My headcanon is that I use all of the residences that I don't live in (besides the Townhouse) as makeshift warehouses, with the goods evenly distributed between them. That way, I always have a few crates of wine or candles lying around whatever part of the city I am at, but may need extra time (multiple actions) to arrange for massive quantities to be moved.

Are you Dracula? Because that sounds awfully Dracula-like to me.

I know that all the Masters have high pitched voices but I simply cannot hear it.
They are doomed to forever have deep throaty rumbles coming from under those hoods.

Same, I just can't imagine high pitched voices coming from them, it just sounds silly, which was intended, I guess, it's even harder to imagine high pitched whispers.

I can see Mr. Pages with the high-pitched voice. The others (excluding Wines, I suppose) just sound like petulant wolves.

You can change clothes, weapons and companions wherever you are (even in dreams, or in prison). My headcanon is that you always have everything with you, the things you equip are just the ones that are active at the moment. It's funny to think of your character as having a huge trunk of clothes on wheels and always being followed at a distance by all his/her/their pets. Or, better yet, your character wrapped in lots of layers of clothes, like Superman.
My theory is that those bits are just you actually recounting tales to your friends, and remembering that you were actually wearing different clothing than what you described earlier. edited by M. Cinder on 5/2/2016

Since I first reached 8 nightmares and went insane, I just imagined that the moment the menace hit maximum, my character just immediately sat down wherever they were and started screaming really loudly until I got back from A State of Confusion, however long that took. God, that would be a bad thing to do in the Shuttered Palace.

Probably an even worse place is Deep in the Cellars under the Palace... which is where I just went insane this evening. Fortunately, there seems to have been some good-spirited casual passerby who thoughtfully dragged me out of there and returned me to my lodgings before my senses returned. It's just like being the hero of an H.P. Lovecraft story, you can go raving mad and somehow no horrors eat you and more prosaically nobody rolls you for your wallet and jewelry.
