How to Divorce?

Sorry for what may be a silly question . . .
I'm married to an NPC and wish to divorce them, but cannot find the option anywhere.
I've tried 'Matters of Society and Scandal', 'Attend to Matters of the Heart', and 'Write Letters'. I can't see any such option, though.
"Break Off Your Relationship" presents me with no eligible possibilities.
Any help?

The Artist's Model, at least, offers a storyline in the Lodgings (on its own, not under any other headings) called "Separate from the Celebrated Artist's Model." I'd have assumed the same is true for the other NPCs?
