UPDATE: The app is out! Enjoy, most delicious friends!

For app-specific support and feedback, please email mobilesupport@failbettergames.com. Thanks!

Our official launch date for Fallen London on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is 19th April 2016.

The app includes a new soundtrack from the composer behind Sunless Sea's much-loved music, and we've featured a song from it in this new trailer!

Will we be able to buy the soundtrack ? Maybe on bandcamp ? Pretty please ? Do I need to make puppy eyes ?

I can reveal that we have the files and are getting them ready for sale. :O

Friends, it is TWO WEEKS until this happens. Please begin the ritual bellowing and sounding of the trumpets at your convenience.

I view this as the terribly important first step towards a version for the android.

So let me go find some trumpets, I'll commence bellowing after I arrange for the brass-band to back me up. (like most lead singers I'm willing to bellow a capella if needed, but sound better with a band)

Love that trailer!! And also looking forward to a smoother iOS experience. I generally visit the Neath with my trusty communication device. It mostly works, but it occasionally taxes my sausage fingers (if I were clever, I'd make a witty jest about it being Touched by the Fingerwork. Alas, my mind is as thick as my fingers)

Ah, thank you. That's interesting to know. A curious decision. I had also flagged the absence of the button and the journal but didn't get an explicit response.

I have to say that while I tried playing the app as much as I could while playtesting the absence of 1) try again, 2) the journal and 3) the detailed tracking of quality changes meant that as soon as the app became synced to the live account I stopped using it for my main. Now that the testing is over, I am torn. The app is *beautiful*. The music is amazing. I really want it to succeed. But the absence of those three features is a sizable deal breaker that for now leads me to carry on with using the browser version on my phone :/

I love the aesthetic of the app, and would like to use it for, ideally, everything. Functionally there are some things I'm used to in-browser that I can't get in-app:
1. I hope we get a way to journal the results of actions, as someone else has already noted above
2. It would be nice if unresolved social requests were put in a separate tab from resolved social requests - it makes the messages tab easier to navigate when you're not accepting all your requests right away, and waiting for, say, TtH

On top of this, there are a couple of things I'd like to say:
1. The swipe-right menu currently feels a bit too sensitive, and I keep getting it by mistake while scrolling down. When you tap out of that menu the page scrolls back up to the top. It would be nice if one or both of these were adjusted to remove some frustrating repeat scrolling.
2. Some remember-account feature that includes support for those with alts would be nice... Not necessary, not by any means, but nice.
3. Change point displays are currently buggy - the game seems to think, for example, that my gaining a couple of levels of Casing has equated to a change point loss of -5, and tells me I need 12 more points of casing to get to Level 7
4. Qualities on the Myself page at represented as numbers without text. This presents a problem for qualities such as Closest To, where each faction is assigned a number that can only be seen with the quality text.

Overall it feels like the app is fantastic for exploring the game - adding an aesthetic layer in the UI and music that are both gorgeous. However, for post-POSI players the browser is currently a superior experience.

The update that's gone up today has added a manual sync button! Hooray. Tap your action candle, and there's now a sync button for you to use should you want to close the app or move to browser.

We're experiencing some 'server offline' messages that we can't replicate our side, so if anyone finds they are getting that message, it would be very kind if you'd drop us an email to mobilesupport@failbettergames.com with a timestamp so we can follow when people are experiencing it. Thanks!

I play FL pretty heavily on my mobile browser. The one thing I'll miss when I'm using a proper interface is scrolling way out and clicking through Fidgeting Writer conversions as fast as possible without really looking to reduce the pain of bad runs of luck.

Congrats on your go-live! Best of luck in the coming days with bugs and clueless users.

On an entirely unrelated note... is there a "try again" button that I'm missing or is "Onwards" the only choice even on repeatable storylets?

Downloaded the app - and so far, loving the ability to log into FL easily on the go. Music fits the atmosphere and world really well too - though perhaps a bit more variety added over time would be nice!

I would like to echo Wiwo's question though - I didn't see any 'try again' option for repeatable storylets. I also ran into a bit of trouble when switching between the broswer and app versions - I had to re-log in to each one if I switched, with the app version taking a fair while to start as it spent a few minutes checking for image updates and then reverting to a previous save.

Will it be compatible with 7.1.2, or will I be stuck using the iphone's web browser like a chump?

Unfortunately, per the official Tumblr, it looks like you'll be stuck using the web browser. I feel you - my tablet's too antique to play anything requiring recent updates too!

If you do anything on the browser version before it syncs, you lose any Unsynced progress on the iOS version.
