That said, if you choose to invite her out for a night of dancing she should become your Acquaintance. You can do that later on in the game regardless, but this is an early game chance.

If we're referring to the Sardonic Music-hall Singer, you'll have plenty of opportunities later to become acquainted with her. (I'm doing Ambition:Light Fingers, so please know that meeting her is not restricted by your Ambition. So pick whichever choice you find most interesting.)

Practically speaking:
Celebrations -> Nothing -> Hat
Morally speaking:
Celebrations -> Hat -> Nothing
Conclusion: Party hard.
