(Your use of greater turning on the spiders was effective!)
The spiders turn into mass of sculptures. The Spider King deserts his throne. Dirae Erinyes gives chase, but is fighting through the army of statues.
Also, their are still hornets coming down. If if the venom is not effective, those stingers will probably hurt.

I look around for some venom and try to aim the mirror light at the Spider King's spider half.

(So sorry for the late reply. This thread did not pop up in my recent threads on my account and thus I was unaware of your response.)
Venom currently still in the hornets, so extraction may be a bit difficult. The Spider King is taking cover in the flexible corners of the throne room.

Leaping over the statues, he begins to pursue the King. He beckons Dirae and Evensong to follow him, and picks up a fused together mound of spiders and throws it at the king. He then proceeds to direct even more of the light at him.

The king is frozen into place with the last glow of light. Dirae Erinyes pounces upon him, smashing his spider half. He whispers a word, and fire bursts around him.

It is done. He is dead. Hopefully now the hornets shall regain their will and be able to freely travel across Parabola. So, shall we return?

"Yes." Evensong waits for Dirae Erinyes to finish rolling on the ground before gesturing to one of the mirrors.
"Where in London shall we go?"

"The Department of Menace Eradication. They'll know what to do about this whole situation. Hopefully they'll be able to send someone to clear up all of this. Imagine if an ordinary Londoner got access to all of this." Gestures towards the room. "This has been quite the experience, don't you think? A right fine mess."

(You defeated the boss. Take 500 exp.)
Evensong nods in agreement. "Not my cup of tea, but duty calls. My spouse on the other hand enjoys these experiences. Please do let us know if you find other strange trouble in this city."

"Thank you, Mr. Dirae, I wish you all the best." And so he passed through the mirror, onto the foggy London, carrying a large burlap sack, in which lay the dead form of the Spider King, and half of his form turned to solid mirror. Tied to the sack, by a small piece of string, was a note, that detailed the last few days, every single occurrence that came their way, and everything they had discovered. It also detailed the exact locations of the now destroyed circles, and the castle in Parabola. But these locations would probably go undisturbed, seeing as most people would prefer to keep themselves far, far away from anything relevant to Parabola. At least, those concerned for their own wellbeing, which Hitch realized, was only a small percentage of the population down here. Yet he also included the names of all who had aided him on this mission, in hopes that they would an reimbursed for their trouble. After going in and dropping of the bag in the offices of the Ministry, he looked on in their direction, nodded, and tipped his hat. And then he took the piece of statue he had quietly broken off of the Kong's corpse, he wouldn't mind, and even if he did, what did Hitch care? Grasping the small reflective chunk of spiders in his hand, he simply thought, and he was gone. The mists of London began to move on quietly, not caring about any of the strange occurrences in the farthest corners of this city. It was just fog after all.

(And my closing post)
Fire crackles in the fire place. The bats issue chittered complaints as Dirae Erinyes offers bags filled with crickets. Evensong sits at a table, marking notes down in her ledger.
“Nobby – urchin illusionist. Koldun – Correspondent scholar and detective. Both have potential as Glassman – Nobby does bear the risk of Fingerkings infestation but so far is clean. Continue to observe their development as recruits in the future.” Evensong lays down her pen.
“Are you sure about this?”
“Shaken from just a few spiders?” Dirae Erinyes teases.
“Reminds me too much of home.”
“I doubt Feducci hunts in the Parabola.”
“True, but there are others. . .”
“Which we should learn to deal on their own turf, rather than waiting for them the fingerkings, spider-councils and other empires to come knocking on our door.”
“Still, a parabola quarter?”
“We would start with a base camp. Doesn’t need to be big – just safe.”
“And out of reach of the Masters?”
Dirae Erinyes grins.
