Sacrificing a Noman

Has anyone tried sacrificing a Noman instead of yourself when you die? It doesn't look as if anyone has ever echoed this.
If so, do you remember if the "Noman's End" story triggers? Or does that story only trigger if Noman's Friend reaches 0 without Noman also being set to 0 at the same time? I'm trying to figure out if there's profit in massacring Nomen.

If the goal is to trigger the "end of life" text, then yes, that only triggers if you have the Noman when it hits 0 for Friend value. (A year ago, I would really have liked to have Echoed the death substitution looking at it with 20/20 hindsight back then with my alt; better understanding the value of all options others wished to see now, but: ) If one replaces their Noman with their imminent Wounds death, as noted-like the Horsehead Amulet NiteBrite mentioned-it gives you a one-screen auto-fire message, but requires you have the PtPT: AToL at one or higher for it to trigger. I am not certain, but I believe it lowers that value by one. (I'm sorry but I cannot recall.)
