Ah, thank you for the reply. I guess an everlasting source of weasels is too good to be true.

Well, I have name whispred in darkness six, but how do you start the Wars of Illusion? I don't see any options for it in Mahogany Hall, the flit, or spite? Do I need to do more heists?

I was able to progress it just by grinding Cats, Bats, and the two Courier options. You just need to get all four of the new qualities to (5?) in order to do the "What is Going On" storylet.

Unfortunately, it's not clear what one must do if one's already past 5. "Making Your Name: Wars of Illusion" requires between 2 and 5 "Embroiled in the Wars of Illusion," and is locked if you're higher. edited by Zareen Bakara on 11/18/2015

So you grind it up to two with seeking/investigating? I've just been grinding casing in Spite and using it in the Flit. Where do you begin seeking/investigating?

I think that both the seeking/investigating storylets are now under "The Heights of Chicanery" in the Flit. That appears when you have reached a Name Whispered in Darkness 6.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

That option to reduce suspicion is much more effective than the one in the Flit, and it used to be locked after... 58 Shadowy, was it? I remember fiddling with the talkative rattus faber and my other items so that I'd lower my quality to the highest level that would allow me to use it (to reduce the chance of failure) for quite some time, while grinding on with the heists in my effort to become a PoSI. The fact that it's open to me again now was completely unexpected, and one of the more pleasant surprises in the recent re-organisation.

Ah, so this is what that was ._.; I was confused after doing my area diving when that popped up and I chose the option that said I was in area diving since I had no idea what that was...
...Did I miss something by resetting it to area diving/second earliest option instead of first/smallest shadowy option? X-x; If I missed something permanently, can I still get this reseted?
Depends, unless you consider the Careworn Journalist's tale as an essential storylet to replay again (which is locked if you completed it with sufficient Raking the Muck quality after picking a higher tier, and if you didn't complete it all the way or start it, I've been made aware that you can still do it after picking Area-Diving and above). Afterwards, you get your first Toast option, which is new. As long as you did a Toast (which should be auto-unlocked when you picked the second tier of Area-Diving, but if not, no worries since another toast is available later after finishing Whisper in Darkness 6), that should be it for new content. If you are really concerned enough for a reset, I would contact support@failbettergames.com for a chance. I hope this helps!
edited by Ridagoth on 11/20/2015

The Careworn Journalist storylet will persist even if you have Name Whispered in Darkness 7. What locks the story from being replayed is the Racking the Muck of the Neath quality.

I see, thanks for the insight. So if you never started it, it'll just stay there until you do (and finish it, since it has levels), since starting it gains the Muck quality, and for the most part can't be zeroed afterwards (unless you pick tier 1 in the shadowy tracker, which is what I did or
you fail the ending in the story
according to the wiki). This is similar to the A Raid on the Brass Embassy, I still have that even with A Name in Seven Secret Alphabets at 6 (the tier I can only pick during the Watchful tracker transition), which is locked once you gain the quality that completes it. Good to know! I'll amend my comment accordingly to make that clear. edited by Ridagoth on 11/20/2015

I had the journalist story done already, but okay, so I didn't miss anything but first toast option? I already did the toasting after area diving, but there is going to be another option to switch who I toast later? Okay, thats nice.

As far as I know, from what I recall redoing the Shadowy tracker from tier 1, you didn't miss anything else.
To elaborate a little bit, Cat-Catching gets unlocked with tier 1 too, but you can always revisit that at The Alleys of Spite and picking The Cats of Spite. I am glad you did the first toast option, which involves toasting to some underworld crime figurehead, or yourself, but in the presence of A Toothy Footpad. After advancing your tracker to the end of Whispered in Darkness 6, you will do another Toast event under different circumstances. At the moment, your second opportunity is your final opportunity to change it or remain the same (you can't keep two different toasts, the second one replaces the first, whether or not it's different), so try not to make a mistake! Is there any way to change who we toast to yet? I really didn't expect that second choice to change it and I hope to get it back.

Sorry to say, I am thinking it's like choosing your Tradition for the Scrawled in Blood tracker. Unfortunately, one is just stuck with it until Failbetter implements an association storylet to switch them like for Persuasive and Watchful.
