It does. So does the first post on page one of this thread.

Hi, Phryne,

That produces "a potentially dangerous request" from Bitdefender -- ? Nobody else having a problem with it?

The forums format the links if it's the last thing in the quoted message; it adds </blockquote> at the end of it becoming https://community.failbettergames.com/topic9647-a-guide-to-lacre.aspx</blockquote>

Probably Bit thinks the link tries to run other commands too so it blocks it; click this one https://community.failbettergames.com/topic9647-a-guide-to-lacre.aspx

EDIT: Quoting such a pot it seems to format the link in such a way that it adds, to the forums, the ending [ / quote]

A little bump to this amazing thread! smile
Big reminder and maybe the top post is updated to: it's better to just eat the snow at ToL 1 or 2 because there's a 30% chance to get 2 points instead of the usual 1 from dipping a soul in it.

It seems to me they've increased the frequency of the Mr Sacks opportunity cards compared to past years. At least for me, this is the fourth day in a row that the Sacks card was more or less the first one to show up when drawing!

It's possible people have forgotten that there is an actual devil in the actual Lord Mayor's office. A devil who is promising to look after people's souls. What is wrong with everybody?

Now that the Wicket is open, I'm confused about next steps. I've managed to accumulate enough lacre and pails to be able to upgrade to two 5-card lodgings (assuming I buy another 4 card lodging, which I can) and buy all three remote addresses. But I don't know if that's what I want to do, or even how to decide what I want to do.

Is there an advantage to having more than one 5-card lodging and more than one remote address?

For that matter, am I even asking this question in the right place? smile

(Re-edited to eliminate my mixup of secluded and remote addresses.)

The 12 Days of Sacks Guide now includes all the info for this season's new investigation, for those of you who still lag a few days behind.

I had no luck drawing cards yesterday and did not want to spoil myself, so I've only updated things now.
I am very happy I played this story on a character who also has the Haunted-Looking Dog. I hope it and the Bedraggled Fox will become friends! smile
