Same here. When should we expect the snowfall? Also, is it strictly Lodgings storylet, or randomized?

No one knows for certain, but it seems likely the snow will begin tomorrow, most likely via TTH, although it may have been re-vamped to come for everyone at the same time. Once you have the snowbound quality there will be a storylet at your lodgings where you can chose your route for clearing the snow.

No snow from TTH from my low-level alt, 22 minutes ago.

Can confirm no "snow" on my end. Hey, you lovely Failbetter people, I think an explanation would be in order?

As a reminder, SNOWBOUND! didn't come until the 12th of December last year.

I've never seen a single person eager to be snowbound, much less a whole group of them. This perverse anticipation must be a purely Neathy phenomenon, considering how deceptively dangerous it can be to shovel snow in the morning.

Oh my god, who knew a simple activity could be so dangerous? Now I'll definitely have to ask Masters to shovel snow for me.

Well, it gave a huge dangerous bonus, so i should've expected it, really. Hiring the urchins this year, though.

Yep. Have urchins shovel with one action for a few CP connected, and an extra free evening, besides the pail, or do your own driveway with 5 actions for 0.7 epa besides the pail, and a boatload of dangerous (specifically- your unmodified dangerous level- for me, that's 160 cp, or 2 and 2/7th levels), or... spend 10 actions for a handful of cp and a few points magnamious up to 10.

it's pretty obvious which one not to chose

10 actions for a handful of CP ? Strange... When I saw the increase in Dangerous I got when shoveling in front of my Lodgings, I thought that I'd get double that amount when shoveling in front of my Lodgings AND in front of someone else's lodgings.

This makes no sense. Rubbery Men, Lorn Flukes, Space bats and all that I can believe, but this... This is too much.

Does anyone remember when TtH stops bringing snow, based on previous years? Is it the same time the Wicket opens? (12 days after Christmas?)

Typically we've had 4 weeks of snow, but nobody knows for sure given how late it arrived this year.

I got snowbound at 12.00 today, and then again when TtH came around 18. Is this intended?

Yes / MAYBE.

Yes, it is intended that you should be able to get it to some degree, and any divisor will be unfair to someone, unless they mimick it when snow stops being bound. no, they might have intended to put a delay.

probably intended, though.
